Project Guidelines#
These guidelines apply to all projects. Read them once; individual project briefs will reference this page rather than repeat the policies.
Conciseness#
Conciseness is a graded criterion. We will evaluate your written analysis on the quality and precision of your reasoning — not the volume. A sharp half-page interpretation may convey more insight and judgment than five pages of hedge-everything generalities — which mainly demonstrates that you’d like us to figure out which parts matter. That’s your job, not ours. Verbose, unfocused, or generic analysis will be penalized.
AI Usage#
Include a brief statement at the end of your notebook describing which AI tools you used (if any), where they were most helpful, and how you verified their outputs. If you did not use AI tools, state that explicitly.
Submission Format#
Submit a Jupyter notebook with all code, output, and written analysis. Code should be clean and organized with section headings matching the questions in the brief.
